Red mange is caused by Demodex species of mites and these mites are burrowing in nature. In most of the cases of dog skin problem, the therapy consists of antibiotic applications, antiseptic shampooing, hair cutting in the patchy areas with problems and close monitoring of the clinical condition is highly required.

If the condition is not monitored, the condition may turn to Pyoderma, which is comparatively difficult to cure.

Grieseofulvin is often used in micronised forms. However, the therapy of the dog skin disease and problem is possible in a successful manner if the diagnosis of the problem is made accurately. Skin disease in dog needs to be approached from varied concepts.
