In case of mite attack hair loss, topical application of hair loss medication products (Mitaban) may be applied. Patchy hair loss will be controlled on using miticidal products including oral pills of ivermectin.

Allergy dog hair loss also being controlled by eliminating the fleas over the body of the dog. Usually this type of hair loss is appreciated in a triangular shape right from the tail tip to the dog's shoulders.

Dog with dry flaky skin and hair loss implies that it is suffering from poor nutrition. Feeding your pet with commercially available dog food may provide you good relief from this type of hair falling out. The commercially available dog food will nullify the lack of essential fatty acids or protein in the normal diet of your dog.
